Prince William vaccinated against COVID-19

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William received the first dose of the CORONAVIRUS vaccine. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.

He was vaccinated on Tuesday, May 18, the prince said. “I received my first dose of the covid-19 vaccine . To everyone who is working on the introduction of vaccines - thank you for everything you have already done and continue to do, ”he wrote.

In the message, the prince did not specify what kind of drug he was vaccinated with. On December 8, 2020, mass vaccination began in Britain using a drug from Pfizer and BioNTech, and on January 4 this year, the British began to administer a vaccine developed by ASTRAZENECA.

The British edition of The Sun reported that Prince William had been ill with the coronavirus back in April 2020 and that during the illness he faced breathing problems. However, the newspaper claimed that the information about this was not disclosed, since the prince "did not want to worry anyone." Prince William became infected shortly after his father, Prince Charles, was diagnosed with the infection.
