The government of St. Petersburg opens food courts and street attractions

In St. Petersburg from August 2, the work of food courts is resumed. Corresponding changes in 121 government decrees are published on the website of the city administration. From the same day, trade facilities that do not have a trading floor (“island”) and street attractions will resume work.

Businesses will be able to resume operations subject to a number of conditions. In addition to having a QR code from the St. Petersburg Center for the Development and Support of Entrepreneurship (confirms that the organization has taken measures to combat covid-19 ), 100% of employees who will work at food courts, "islands" or serve attractions must be vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine against CORONAVIRUS; or have a document confirming the transfer of COVID-19 over the past six months.

As for the food courts, Smolny also ordered them to make a separate entrance and exit for visitors, measure their temperature, and also control the number of visitors at the rate of 4 square meters. m per person.

More stringent business requirements will be introduced in the fall. By order of Smolny, from October 1, 2021, entrepreneurs in the field of swimming pools, fitness centers, cinemas, catering, food delivery services, hairdressers and beauty salons, bath services will be able to continue working only if 80% of their employees are are fully vaccinated or will have a documented case of COVID-19 in the last six months.

From October 15, 2021, a similar requirement will apply to travel companies, hotels, all retail outlets, businesses that transport passengers and luggage, as well as educational centers, medical businesses and companies providing social services.
