The ambassador called the words about Poland's claims to Kaliningrad a "fantasy flight"

The statement of the Polish General Waldemar Skrzypchak about claims to the Kaliningrad region, which has been "under occupation" by RUSSIA since 1945, was called by the Russian ambassador in Warsaw, Sergei Andreev, "a flight of fancy."

Earlier, the Polish general expressed the opinion that Warsaw could lay claim to the Kaliningrad region, which has been "under Russian occupation since 1945." “It is worth raising the issue of Kaliningrad, which, in my opinion, is the territory of Poland,” he said, noting that today the Kaliningrad region “has no military significance.”

The press secretary of the governor of the Kaliningrad region, Dmitry Lyskov, in response, advised Skshipchak to learn some history, then he would see that it was impossible to return to Poland what had never belonged to it. “This question is very strange, especially in light of the fact that the current Polish Gdansk was quite recently called Danzig and belonged to another country, so it’s not for them to explicitly ask these questions,” he stressed.
