Israeli Ambassador announces talks on recognition of Sputnik Light

RUSSIA and Israel are discussing the recognition of covid-19 vaccination certificates by the Russian drug Sputnik Light. This was reported to the Izvestia newspaper by the country's ambassador to Russia, Alexander Ben Zvi, at the Moscow International Conference on Combating Xenophobia under the auspices of the Russian Jewish Congress.

“We are discussing this issue, the issue of recognizing Sputnik Light, everything is on the agenda. All this is being discussed, but the main topic is Sputnik V, since most of the Russian population is vaccinated with it, ”he said.

Now the ministries of tourism and HEALTH of each of the countries are negotiating on technical issues, the diplomat explained. In particular, we are talking about "ensuring checks so that people can come, but at the same time they do not pose a threat to themselves or to the population in Israel."

Israel has postponed the entry of those vaccinated with Sputnik V until December Society

Currently, two drugs are approved in the country. These are vaccines from Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna.
