
Israeli Ambassador to RUSSIA Alexander Ben Zvi announced the second round of negotiations between Rospotrebnadzor and the local Ministry of HEALTH regarding the certification of the Russian CORONAVIRUS vaccine Sputnik V, and also expressed hope for its soon recognition. He spoke about this in an interview with Izvestia.
“Negotiations are underway. Some negotiations between Rospotrebnadzor and our Ministry of Health have already passed. In the next week, these days, another such round will take place,” he said.
According to him, agencies need time to compare technical data. He also said that he hoped for the recognition of "Sputnik V" in Israel before the end of the year. “I hope so,” he replied to a related question from a journalist.
Ben Zvi added that even after the mutual recognition of certificates, the issue of opening borders will remain open.
