The situation with the CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 in RUSSIA remains quite tense, but there has been a tendency towards stabilization. This was stated in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda by the HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

“She certainly remains quite tense for now. At the same time, we see a decrease in the weekly growth rate of cases, and this indicates an emerging trend towards stabilization of the epidemic process,” she said.

According to Popova, now the main task is to cover the population with vaccinations as much as possible. The head of the department noted that the Russians can choose any of the registered vaccines.

As Popova noted, of the total number of those who received at least one dose of the vaccine, no more than 2.5% fall ill, and of those who received two doses, less than 1%.
