A new, fifth vaccine against CORONAVIRUS will soon appear in Russia, said the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova during the round table "Sanitary shield of the country - safety for citizens" at the site of the United Russia public support headquarters.

“We developed the first test system very quickly. Of course, the most important part of epidemiological work is, first of all, the work of our scientists. We are analyzing the incidence situation, we understand how the epidemiological process will develop under different scenarios, we see how the virus is changing and how strains are changing, we see how the situation with vaccination is changing. Four vaccines [against COVID-19] have been registered in Russia, and a fifth vaccine is on the way. This situation blocks the spread of the virus,” she said.
