Treatment approaches: Tatarstan doctors declared their readiness to fight omicron

The healthcare system of the Republic of Tatarstan is ready to fight the omicron strain COVID-19: there are enough beds, there is a treatment regimen. To date, it has not yet been detected in the region.

Always ready

Deputy Minister of HEALTH of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Zhavoronkov said today that the system is ready for stress if a new strain  of covid-19  , omicron, is detected in the republic.

“In any case, the health care system is ready in terms of what is available, where to be hospitalized, and the outpatient service is ready for the burdens that they can potentially impose on it,” he said during a press conference at Tatar-inform news agency. .

Today, according to the ministry, there are a sufficient number of beds in temporary covid hospitals in Tatarstan. “During the pandemic, 13 clinical recommendations regarding the treatment of the disease have changed. I would not say that the treatment for all this time has changed dramatically since the “delta” came after the Wuhan strain. The same situation is likely to be with the "omicron". Perhaps there will be adjustments, but the principle will remain the same,” the deputy minister believes.

Morbidity and violations of enterprises

The deputy HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lyubov Avdonina, said that the republic has seen a decrease in the weekly rate of increase in the incidence by 5.5%.

At the same time, the incidence of SARS is increasing in the region. During the week, 14 cases of influenza were detected, a total of 29 were registered.
