The chief sanitary DOCTOR of St. Petersburg, Natalya Bashketova, signed a decree on mandatory vaccination against covid for 80% of employees in a number of industries. Vaccinations must be completed by December 15th. Earlier, Governor Alexander Beglov ordered that 80% of personnel in the same areas be vaccinated by October 15. Lawyers interviewed by RBC Petersburg explained that the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of St. Petersburg in this case has more weight than the orders of the governor.
Until mid-December
From the document published on the website of Rospotrebnadzor, it follows that mandatory vaccination against CORONAVIRUS infection ( covid-19) is introduced for several spheres. These are education, healthcare, social protection and social services, trade and catering, including courier delivery, provision of temporary accommodation services (hotels, hostels, guest houses, boarding houses, campsites, etc.), public transport and taxis, household services, including laundries and dry cleaners, the entire beauty industry (beauty salons, cosmetics, spas, massage parlors, solariums, baths and saunas), fitness centers, swimming pools, client divisions of financial organizations, post offices, multifunctional centers, housing and communal services and energy, organizers of cultural, exhibition, educational events (including museums, exhibition halls, libraries, excursions), leisure, entertainment, entertainment events (including game events, master classes), theaters, cinemas and concert halls.
The list includes civil and municipal employees, as well as employees of public authorities and their subordinate organizations.
The management of organizations working in these areas must provide the first injection of a two-component vaccine (or the only injection of a one-component vaccine) to at least 80% of employees (both full-time and working under a civil law contract) by November 15. By December 15, at least 80% of the staff must complete the full vaccination cycle. The requirements do not apply to persons who have contraindications to prophylactic vaccination against a new coronavirus infection, the document says.
Get it done by October
It should be noted that at the end of July, Governor Alexander Beglov signed amendments to St. Petersburg Government Decree No. 121, where the vaccination dates for the same areas were earlier. Thus, the “deadline” for vaccinating 80% of staff for restaurants, delivery, fitness clubs and swimming pools, beauty salons was already on October 1. For retail trade, tourism, excursion, hotel and personal services, transportation of passengers and luggage by public transport and passenger taxis, as well as activities in the field of education, healthcare, social protection and social services - from October 15.
