“I am now talking <...> about the fact that we have reached a certain plateau. I fully admit that this level, which we see today, will continue throughout the autumn-winter season, ”he said. At the same time, Dmitry Lisovvets noted that in recent weeks, the pace of primary vaccination has decreased in St. Petersburg. According to him, about 20,000 people were vaccinated two weeks ago per day with the first component, and 17,000 people in the last week.

The epidemiological situation in St. Petersburg, according to the indicators of Smolny and Rospotrebnadzor, has been improving over the past month. Over the past week, from November 22 to 28, 2,478 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in St. Petersburg; a month ago, in the last week of October - 3,316. ​​The number of beds for "covid" patients was reduced in the city. Last week, 832 infectious beds were turned off by the main building of the St. Petersburg Hospital for War Veterans; now he accepts planned and emergency patients.

Over the past week, the weekly number of new cases of CORONAVIRUS detected in St. Petersburg has decreased by more than 1.5 times. According to the federal operational headquarters, from November 22 to November 28, 11,855 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in St. Petersburg, a week earlier - 19,384. The number of deaths in the city from covid is also decreasing. Over the past day in St. Petersburg, 57 people have died from the infection; a month ago, on November 2, this figure was 83 people.
