From July 1, the Krasnodar Territory will accept tourists only with PCR tests or vaccinated. From August 1 - only vaccinated. According to an RBC expert, Perm, Turkey, even without restrictions in the Krasnodar Territory, looked much more attractive. Many tourists who had previously booked tours to the Russian coast began to change them to Turkey and even receive financial benefits from this.

“Yesterday we already started calling tourists who are going to travel in Russia, because now it’s easier to fly abroad. They manage to get passports and, in principle, have a rest in normal conditions where it is really safe. Turkey was allowed to the "bodies" of Russian tourists only after a big check. We really made sure that it is safe there, ”Svetlana Oboyanskaya, director of the travel company OSA Tour, a member of the RST agency committee, told RBC Perm.

According to the expert, prices for tours continue to rise. Moreover, the flight program is now being leveled. Tour operators change dates and transfer tourists from neighboring countries to one plane, because planes fly more or less full towards Turkey, and return completely empty. As a result, travel companies suffer financial losses.

For unvaccinated tourists, PCR testing bears large financial costs. If in Perm it is still possible to pass a test for the presence of coronavirus on a budget, then in the municipalities of the region you have to pay extra for urgency. So, in Berezniki, you can quickly get a test for 2.8 thousand rubles. In addition, two PCR tests are required when entering Russia.

“If we are talking about a family of three, then PCR testing will cost around 15-20 thousand, which is a rather heavy financial burden. Due to the overcrowding of Russian beaches, now Covid is being transported from our south - the main increase in cases is from there. Therefore, I believe that reverse testing can also be introduced,” says Svetlana Oboyanskaya.

According to her, now the worst thing is that tour operators may go bankrupt and fail to fulfill their obligations to tourists for 2020-2021. Because all European destinations are not sold during the pandemic. There are tour operators who worked only in European destinations. For them, this is a huge problem.

The expert says that the situation that is unfolding now with the tour operator Mouzenidis Travel suggests that this is only the beginning. Perhaps the company will not get out of the crisis that occurred after the death of its founder. Now they are canceling tours.
