The Healthy Moscow pavilions, traditionally deployed in the capital’s parks for medical examinations, are being transferred to work exclusively for vaccination against CORONAVIRUS. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

The Vice Mayor explained that the decision was due to "a sharp deterioration in the epidemiological situation." “We are forced to temporarily suspend medical examinations in the Healthy Moscow pavilions in the capital's parks. Starting Monday, HEALTH workers who have been conducting medical examinations will strengthen outreach services from outpatient clinics to serve patients at home, and will also help increase the throughput of vaccination teams in the parks, ”she said.

The deputy mayor clarified that vaccination will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no restrictions on the opening hours of the pavilions. “Medical staff will work until everyone is vaccinated during the day,” Rakova said, adding that the authorities plan to return the operation of the Healthy Moscow pavilions to their usual mode as soon as the epidemiological situation improves.
