Most often, mandatory vaccination is supported by people with above-average earnings and people over 45 years of age. The number of supporters of this idea is gradually growing.

The largest proportion of respondents who support the idea of compulsory vaccination against COVID-19 was among people with incomes above 80 thousand rubles, the Superjob survey showed. However, even among them there were more opponents of such a strategy to combat the epidemic.

The survey was conducted from 14 to 19 July among 1.6 thousand Russians, residents of all federal districts, from 389 settlements. The study involved economically active people over 18 years of age.

The question asked by the researchers was: “Do you approve of the idea of mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 for the entire population of the country, with the exception of people who have contraindications?”. This question was answered in the affirmative by 39% of Russians with a monthly income of 80,000 rubles or more. This is the largest share among all social groups studied in the sample. 48% of Russians with such earnings opposed mandatory vaccination, 13% found it difficult to answer.

In general, compared with similar studies of previous months, the number of Russians from all social groups who approve of mandatory vaccination increased to 28% in July. In June, there were 23% of supporters of such an idea, in May - 19%. 55% of all Russians are against the idea of compulsory vaccination.
