The survey assessed the fear of residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg before the third wave of COVID

Interviewed residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg have different attitudes towards a possible third wave of the pandemic in RUSSIA. They observe quarantine measures in different ways: in the capital, masks and gloves are worn by almost 2.5 times more respondents

The third wave of CORONAVIRUS in Moscow is more feared than in St. Petersburg , follows from a survey of the SuperJob service (RBC has it).

The survey, conducted from 27 to 29 April, involved 1,000 residents of the two capitals.

Respondents were asked if they fear a new surge in covid-19 cases . In Moscow, 45% of respondents expressed such fears, in St. Petersburg, 36% of such concerns turned out to be. Among those who gave this answer, 8 and 6% of respondents, respectively, experience strong fear, the rest do not worry much.

Residents of the two cities observe quarantine measures in different ways. In Moscow, 85% of those surveyed claimed to wear a mask in public places, in St. Petersburg, 82% of them. Masks and gloves are worn by 38% in the capital, and 16% among respondents in St. Petersburg. On the other hand, the share of respondents who refused protective equipment is approximately the same in both cities - 9 and 11%, respectively.
