The operational headquarters announced the possibility of introducing new restrictions in Novosibirsk

The issues of introducing mandatory vaccination for certain categories of citizens, as well as restricting access to public events and institutions for unvaccinated residents of the region, have been submitted for consideration by the regional operational headquarters for CORONAVIRUS. This was reported in the operational headquarters of the Novosibirsk region.

“Issues of introducing additional measures in the Novosibirsk Region to protect the population from coronavirus infection, in particular, mandatory vaccination for certain categories of citizens, as well as access to cultural and sports events, catering and service organizations, and other organizations using QR codes on vaccination have been submitted for consideration by the regional operational headquarters, the operational headquarters reported. — Consideration of these issues is related to the need to prevent complications of the epidemiological situation, as well as due to insufficient vaccination rates to achieve population immunity. Decisions on the introduction of additional measures are taken on the basis of the decisions of the chief sanitary DOCTOR of the region.

The day before, at a meeting of the operational headquarters, the HEAD of the Novosibirsk Rospotrebnadzor, Alexander Shcherbatov, at an operational meeting with the governor, stated that for two weeks in the region there has been an increase in the number of detected cases of covid-19 simultaneously with a seasonal rise in the incidence of SARS.

“There is a trend towards an increase in cases of coronavirus infection,” he said. “The spread coefficient of COVID-19 has been above one for the third week already, this is a sign of a tense situation.”

“There is a slight upward trend in the detection rate of covid in the region,” stated Konstantin Khalzov, head of the Ministry of HEALTH.
