
The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, has amended the decree on high alert in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection. The documents were supplemented with a new item especially for the long May weekend. Restrictive measures are being tightened in the country for the coming week.
"In the period from May 1 to May 7, 2021, citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as foreign citizens and stateless persons located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, should refrain from visiting crowded places (including squares, parks, squares and alleys)", - stated in the decree of the head.
In public transport, taxis, places of mass stay of citizens, in cafes and restaurants, shopping centers, venues for entertainment and public events, additional disinfection will be carried out on the same days. Executive authorities are instructed to strengthen control over compliance with the ban on visiting crowded places. Violators will be held administratively liable. In addition, citizens are warned to wear masks and observe the social distancing regime.
As RBC Ufa reported, previous amendments to the decree on high alert in Bashkiria were made on April 20. Then citizens arriving on the territory of the republic by any means of transport were obliged to observe self-isolation until the results of the test for COVID-19 were received .
