At a briefing on acute respiratory infections and influenza during the covid-19 circulation period , Vitaly Kostarev, Chief Sanitary DOCTOR for the Perm Territory, gave a forecast regarding the stabilization of the COVID-19 situation, however, the forecast will work only under one condition.
“If it is not possible to identify a new mutation, then the number of cases is expected to stabilize, and later decrease,” said Vitaly Kostarev.

Vitaly Kostarev stressed that the most common strain in the Kama region remains "omicron".

As for the flu, no cases have been recorded so far. But the department is waiting for him.
