The turnover of the catering market in Bashkiria increased by 13%

The turnover of the public catering market in Bashkiria in January-September 2021 amounted to 18.7 billion rubles. This is 12.9% higher than the same period last year, follows from the report of Rosstat "The socio-economic situation in RUSSIA."

In the Volga Federal District, the republic ranks third in terms of catering turnover. Heads the top Tatarstan, where the revenue of cafes and restaurants for nine months approached 40 billion rubles. In second place is the Nizhny Novgorod region with an indicator of 19.4 billion. The top five also includes the Perm Territory and the Samara Region - 18 and 17.7 billion rubles, respectively. Since the beginning of the year, the most noticeable dynamics of the public catering market has been recorded in Chuvashia - turnover increased by 35.5%. By 30.8%, the indicators exceeded last year in the Perm Territory, by 29.9% - in the Ulyanovsk Region.

The market showed the lowest turnover in Mari El and Mordovia - 3.9 and 3.5 billion rubles. At the same time, the most insignificant increase in indicators was recorded in the Samara and Saratov regions - 10.5% and 10.7%, respectively.

In the country as a whole, the turnover of public catering in September amounted to 176.3 billion rubles, which is 13.6% higher than last year's level. For nine months, the market turnover amounted to 1.3 trillion rubles, which is 27.4% more than a year earlier.

In Bashkiria, from October 18, catering establishments with a capacity of more than 50 places are open to visitors only upon presentation of a covid-19 vaccination certificate , a certificate of a past illness or a medical exemption from vaccination along with a negative PCR test for infection. During the non-working period from October 30 to November 7 inclusive, cafes and restaurants were forbidden to work from 23:00 to 6:00, with the exception of food delivery.
