Nizhny Novgorod municipalities will be able to transfer schoolchildren to distance learning

Local authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region will be able to make decisions on transferring students from grades 6 to 8, as well as grades 10 to distance learning. Corresponding changes to the decree of the Nizhny Novgorod region "On high alert" were made by the governor of the region Gleb Nikitin.

The same solutions are possible in terms of working hours in organizations of additional education, organizations providing sports training, child care and supervision, in cultural and sports institutions, club-type institutions.

Heads of universities and professional educational organizations are invited to determine the form of education using e-learning and distance learning technologies, while only students with QR codes confirming the presence of a certificate of vaccination or immunization are admitted to the full-time form. Only students who have been vaccinated or have a certificate of immunization are now allowed to take internships and classes outside the structural divisions of professional educational organizations and universities.

The requirements for people working with children, including in schools, kindergartens, organizations of additional and vocational education, as well as leisure and entertainment organizations for children, are increasing. Now only employees who have a preventive vaccination against COVID-19 certificate or an immunization certificate, certificates of negative results of a laboratory test for COVID-19 using the PCR method (valid for no more than 3 days, admission to work within period of validity) or a certificate of test results for the presence of antibodies (valid for no more than 60 days). Employers are no longer required to provide employees with the necessary tests.

It is also recommended that Nizhny Novgorod enterprises transfer part of their employees to remote work. The changes will also affect catering establishments.
