Nizhny Novgorod private clinics will be included in the vaccination against Covid-19

Private clinics in the Nizhny Novgorod region will soon be included in the covid-19 vaccination program. This was announced by the deputy HEAD of the department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod region, Natalya Sadykova, during a live broadcast on a social network. 

Vaccination in private clinics will begin as soon as commercial batches arrive in the region. it could happen as early as August. According to Sadykova, first of all, foreign citizens living in the region will be able to use the new service. Most likely, the Sputnik Light vaccine will be the first to be delivered to private medical organizations. 

There is no information yet on immunization with imported vaccines; they are not supplied to RUSSIA. The cost of vaccination against Covid-19 has not been determined either.

Natalya Sadykova noted that now there is no shortage of vaccine in the Nizhny Novgorod region, new batches are received by medical organizations in the region every week. 

The deputy head of the department also recalled that by August 30, all employers must upload information about vaccinated, ill and contraindicated employees to the Nizhny Novgorod Region Citizen Card portal. In the future, in the event of an outbreak of the disease at the enterprise, the employer may be held administratively liable. If the vaccination was not carried out for objective reasons (for example, due to the lack of a vaccine or the presence of contraindications), no sanctions will be applied.
