Reducing inflation

Annual inflation in the Perm Territory in April decreased against the previous month by 0.36% and amounted to 4.79%. In the Volga Federal District and in Russia as a whole, inflation also slowed down and amounted to 5.70% and 5.53%, respectively.

The growth rate of prices for food products in annual terms in April decreased relative to the previous month by 1.14%, to 5.76%.

The growth rate of prices for non-food products in April increased by 0.08% compared to the previous month, to 5.65% in annual terms.

The annual growth rate of prices for services in April remained virtually unchanged compared to the previous month and amounted to 2.43%. 

Change of leadership

Yana Furman has been appointed Acting Director General of the State Budgetary Institution of the Perm Territory "Investment Promotion Agency". This was reported in the SPARK-Interfax information disclosure database.

Previously, Yana Furman worked at AIR as the head of investment analysis and investor support.
