This week, acting Alexander Filippov was appointed head of the Sverdlovsk region of Perm. He took up duties on July 26.

Alexander Filippov graduated from the Faculty of History and Political Science of Perm State University in 2001 with a degree in Political Science. From 2011 to December 2012, he was the head of the Regional Executive Committee of the United RUSSIA Party. Since 2016, he has been a member of the Perm City Duma.

From Perm to four countries

The Federal Air Transport Agency issued permits for international flights from Bolshoye Savino Airport. The order, published on the agency's website, contains permissions for flights from Perm to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Israel and Thailand.

Perm-Baku and Perm-Yerevan flights were approved by Red Wings airline based at the Perm airport. The frequency of flights to these destinations will be 2 times a week.

Also, the S7 airline received access to a flight from Perm to Eilat (Israel) with a frequency of three times a week. Royal Flight airline - admission to flights on the route Perm - Utapao (Thailand) twice a week.
