
The requirement of the authorities of the American New York to the delegates of the UN General Assembly to provide proof of vaccination against CORONAVIRUS is discriminatory, said Russia's permanent representative to the organization Vasily Nebenzya in a corresponding letter, RIA Novosti reports.
“In view of the sensitivity of this issue for each member country, we demand an urgent meeting of the General Assembly on September 16 to discuss the situation,” Nebenzya said.

The letter itself was also sent to the UN member countries, the Secretary General of the organization António Guterres and the Chairman of the 76th session of the General Assembly, Abdullah Shahid.
