Nazarbayev spoke about his salvation from COVID-19 by Russian doctors

The first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said that a team of Russian doctors saved him from the CORONAVIRUS infection. This happened at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the Kremlin website.

“And I will never forget many things - that when I fell ill, a group of Russian doctors was with me for ten days. it was decisive in my recovery, so it is not forgotten,” Nazarbayev said.

According to the former president, after the relevant agreements between the two countries, an enterprise producing the Russian vaccine against covid-19 was launched in Karaganda . “The same quality and in large volume,” he said.

Nazarbayev also thanked Putin for his friendship.

The first president of Kazakhstan, chairman of the ruling Nur Otan party and HEAD of the Security Council, Nursultan Nazarbayev, was diagnosed with coronavirus on June 18 last year. The 79-year-old politician continued to work in self-isolation. On July 2, 2020, he recovered from COVID-19.

The meeting between Putin and Nazarbayev began in Moscow on the evening of June 30. Putin and Nazarbayev planned to discuss the development of strategic partnership and the union between RUSSIA and Kazakhstan. The meeting will also touch upon the topic of promoting integration in the Eurasian space.
