125 million rubles will be allocated to start-up entrepreneurs in the field of agro-industrial complex in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, in 2022, 125 million rubles will be allocated for grants to start-up entrepreneurs under the Agrostartup program. The regional Ministry of Agriculture selected 39 recipients of funds from 200 applicants at the competition. 122.9 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes from the federal treasury, the remaining funds will be co-financed by the republican budget. 

According to the terms of the program, the amount of grants under the Agrostartup program for projects in the field of breeding cattle in MEAT or dairy areas is up to 5 million rubles, in other areas - up to 3 million rubles. The largest amount among the grants distributed in 2022 is 4.9 million rubles, the minimum is 1.44 million rubles. Entrepreneurs must provide co-financing of projects in the amount of at least 10% of the total cost of their implementation.

“The commission recognized as the best projects of applicants planning to develop meat and dairy cattle breeding, horse breeding, vegetable growing and beekeeping. The agro-industrial complex of the region receives new small businesses, which, we hope, will not stop there, but will develop their farms further, increase food production. There are all conditions in the republic for this,” said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture of the republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in the period from 2019 to 2021, more than 230 new farms were launched in the region as part of the Agrostartup program. The program is part of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises".

As RBC Ufa reported, in March 2022, a law establishing tax holidays for agricultural enterprises came into force in the region. The single agricultural tax rate has been reduced from 6% to 0%. This measure will be in effect until the end of 2023. Only those agricultural enterprises that will keep the number of employees at a level of at least 90% of the original will be able to use it.

In March, the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria announced the resumption of grant support for agricultural consumer cooperatives (SPoK) under the program of income-generating projects. In 2022, 100 million rubles will be allocated from the regional treasury for these purposes. In 2021, 100 million rubles were allocated from the budget of Bashkiria for grants to cooperatives under a program with federal co-financing. The SPOK funds could be used to develop the material and technical base of the cooperative, the maximum amount of state support under the program was set at 70 million rubles, while the grant amount should not exceed 60% of the cooperative's costs for these purposes.
