Part of the restrictions on COVID-19 has been lifted in the Vologda

region The region has reached a plateau in the incidence of coronavirus infection.

According to the criteria of Rospotrebnadzor, we can already lift restrictions, as Oleg Kuvshinnikov, head of the region, said at an extended meeting of the operational headquarters.

To date, there are 60,659 cases in the Vologda Oblast. According to the Ministry of Health and Rospotrebnadzor, the epidemiological situation is gradually stabilizing. In general, the increase in cases has slowed down across the country. In this regard, the Vologda region has reached a plateau with the prospect of a decline. The prevalence rate is 1. Today, 1,013 people have been hospitalized in the region, 123 of whom are in serious condition. These are the lowest figures since the end of June. Thus, according to Oleg Kuvshinnikov, the region is ready to lift restrictions, but gradually.

An important problem that interests Vologda residents is the beginning of the school year. The study will begin in the usual full-time format. The governor has authorized outdoor assembly with parents for first and eleventh grades. the rest of the classes will hold ceremonial events in the premises. In rural schools, all classes will go to lineups on September 1, since the number of students there is small.

Another good news is that from August 27, restrictions on the operation of cinemas, theaters, concerts, business and congress, as well as sporting events are lifted. The main condition is that the halls and stands should not be filled by more than 50%, and the spectators should be seated, taking into account social distancing. Food courts are allowed to operate in shopping centers with the same conditions. Playrooms and children's centers will reopen for children.

However, the situation is still not so stable, so the high alert is extended until September 30.
