Regional authorities allocate 6 million rubles for the transportation of the COVID vaccine

The Kaliningrad Regional Pharmaceutical Company will purchase vehicles from the budget to transport the vaccine against covid-19 . The authorities will allocate 6 million 196 thousand rubles from the reserve fund of the region for these purposes. The decision of the regional government is published on the portal of legal information.

The recipient of the funds is the regional Ministry of HEALTH, which, in turn, will send money to the pharmaceutical company to buy two cars with a refrigerated van by December 31.

The government is allocating another 1 million 588 thousand 600 rubles for the purchase of medical products for vaccination. The money will be distributed between the Central City Clinical Hospital and Kaliningrad hospitals No. 2, 3 and 4.

On May 11, RBC Kaliningrad wrote that the Kaliningrad region received the first batch of EpiVacCorona CORONAVIRUS vaccine — 810 doses. it was developed by the scientific center "Vector". The vaccine is fully synthetic, does not contain a live virus, and is suitable for people with chronic and allergic diseases, as well as for revaccination after other vaccines and for vaccinating people who have previously had COVID-19, the agency said.
