In the Stavropol Territory, they plan to fine the company for ₽900 thousand for damage to the land

In the Stavropol region, ABS LLC and its DIRECTOR were brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine of 900 thousand rubles. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the region.

In particular, the Stavropol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection and found that ABS LLC, in the course of executing a state contract for the repair of a road in the Kochubeevsky District of the Territory, on a land plot classified as agricultural land, unlawfully placed asphalt chips, scrap concrete products, as well as construction waste, which led to the misuse of the land, its pollution and depletion.

Cases of administrative offenses were initiated against the legal entity and its director under Part. 4, 9, 10 st. 8.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-compliance with the requirements in the field of environmental protection when handling production waste), Part 2 of Art. 8.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to fulfill obligations for land reclamation), part 1 of Art. 8.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (use of a land plot not for its intended purpose).

“The legal entity and its director were found guilty of committing these administrative offenses, they were sentenced to fines totaling about 900 thousand rubles. In addition, the prosecutor made a submission to the director of ABS LLC, as a result of which the violations of the law were eliminated, the official was brought to disciplinary responsibility, ”the agency’s press service said.

According to the RBC Company's service, Asphalt-Concrete Mixes LLC was registered in 2003 in Essentuki. The main activity is the construction of roads and highways. The founder of the company is Rafael Hovsepyan. The organization's revenue in 2020 amounted to 121.8 million rubles, profit - 8.8 million rubles.

According to SPARK, in 2022 the company signed two contracts with the administrations of the Kochubeevsky municipal district of Stavropol for the repair of sections of two roads in the district. The total price of the contracts amounted to 223.7 million rubles.
