In the Krasnodar Territory, support measures are being developed for it companies in the region. This was announced by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev at a meeting with representatives of the industry. According to him, in particular, we are talking about reducing the tax rate on income under the simplified taxation system - from 6 to 1%. According to administration estimates, this will affect more than 200 IT organizations. It is also planned to increase the size of the investment tax deduction from 50 to 70%.

“Due to sanctions, many Western countries have stopped deliveries and stopped technical support of software products. But such a decision creates conditions for accelerated import substitution and the development of the domestic high-tech sector. Today, about 1,200 IT companies operate in the region. Therefore, our main task is to support IT specialists, create comfortable conditions for their development,” commented the HEAD of the region.

Vice Governor Alexander Ruppel added that in order to attract young employees in this area, the regional authorities have developed a bill that would reduce the rate on “mortgages for IT specialists” to 2%, although it is 5% under the federal program.

“This issue is currently under discussion,” explained Alexander Ruppel.

Also, Veniamin Kondratiev named the approximate construction time of the Krasnodar IT-Park - they plan to complete it by 2025, and then "it will become a platform for large companies and novice developers."
