Another 202 people infected with coronavirus in Don region per day

In the Rostov region, as of May 17, another 202 new cases of covid-19 infection were recorded . During the day, 174 people recovered, according to the Stopcoronavirus.rf portal.

Thus, for all the time in the region there are already 91,535 cases of CORONAVIRUS. For all the time, 81,957 people have recovered from a new infection in the Rostov region.

Among new cases, 32.2% are between the ages of 18 and 45; 34.7% - from 46 to 65 years; 19.8% - from 66 to 79 years; 5.9% are over 80; 7.4% are children.

1486 patients receive treatment in hospitals. 10 people are in serious condition on invasive mechanical ventilation, 142 people are on non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Over the past 24 hours, 11 more people have died from covid. These are three women, two 71, 86 years old, and eight men - 50, 65, 69, 71, 74, 75, 84, 87 years old, all with chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and other systems. The total number of deaths in the region from the infection is 4,237 people.
