In the Rostov region, the anti-record for the number of people infected with COVID-19 per day has been updated again. As of the morning of October 4, the number of infected people on the Don has increased by 517, according to the Stopcoronavirus.rf portal.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the number of confirmed cases of infection on an accrual basis reached 140,650. Over the entire period, 121,274 people recovered in the region, 353 people per day. 4399 patients receive treatment in hospitals. 47 people are in serious condition on invasive mechanical ventilation, 375 people are on non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,923 people have become victims of COVID-19, and 32 more deaths have been registered over the past day.

Earlier, RBC Rostov reported that a number of restrictions were returned in the Rostov region due to the worsening epidemiological situation due to an increase in the number of cases of covid. In accordance with them, employers are required to transfer at least 30% of employees to a remote work format, including those over the age of 65 and those diagnosed with chronic diseases. Medical examinations of persons over 18 years of age and preventive examinations are also suspended.

In addition, restrictions have affected leisure and education: for example, no more than 500 people can be in concert halls, while their occupancy should not exceed 50%. The work of dance floors on the basis of public catering is completely suspended. Also, in accordance with the document, until November 1 of this year, children under 18 years of age will not be able to attend additional educational programs organized by educational organizations - the exception is the distance format and the format of individual lessons.
