374,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Don since the beginning of the pandemic

In the Rostov region, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the total number of infected people has exceeded 374.1 thousand people. This follows from the data published by the Don Ministry of Regional Policy and Mass Communications.

During the day, as of the morning of May 13, 97 people were infected with the coronavirus.

For the entire period, 362,220 people recovered in the region, and 178 people recovered in a day. 258 patients receive treatment in hospitals. Four people are in serious condition on invasive mechanical ventilation, 20 people are on non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

Over the entire period, 10,902 people became victims of COVID-19. Another death was recorded over the past day - a 62-year-old man with a chronic disease of the cardiovascular system and metabolic disorders.

“To date, 2070.5 thousand people have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection, 408 per day. 2016.92 thousand people have completed vaccination, 129 per day,” the ministry explained.
