The Krasnodar Territory will receive more than 972 million rubles to fight the CORONAVIRUS pandemic. The corresponding order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

As part of the order, funds in the amount of 56 billion rubles will go to the country's regions from the government's reserve fund to support healthcare systems. The necessary agreements will be concluded within 30 days.

According to Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, today the healthcare system is working at its limit. In covid hospitals, about 17% of the bed fund is free.

“The epidemiological situation in the region is tense. We have reached peak values of the disease, a record for the entire history of the pandemic - per day we identified 272 cases of coronavirus and suspected of it. Thanks to federal support and additional funds, we will be able to provide medical care to a larger number of sick and suspected patients, ”said Veniamin Kondratyev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory.

As RBC Krasnodar reported, Kuban was among the regions with minimal costs for the fight against covid-19 . According to this indicator, the Kuban is adjacent to the Oryol, Lipetsk and Bryansk regions. Less result was shown only in Chechnya - 2.4 thousand rubles per person.
