
Warehouses in RUSSIA have a sufficient amount of medicines, HEALTH Minister Mikhail Murashko said in an interview with journalist Naila Asker-zade on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
“There are a sufficient number of medicines in warehouses and medical organizations,” Murashko said.
According to him, for privileged categories of citizens today, stocks of medicines will last for more than 8-12 months in different categories.

After the imposition of Western sanctions, some foreign pharmaceutical companies suspended the supply of certain drugs to Russia, and also refused clinical trials and investments in the country. At the same time, Roszdravnadzor claimed that they were not afraid of a shortage of medicines.
At the end of March, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova instructed the Ministry of Health to start searching for drugs that are not produced in Russia and friendly foreign countries in case of a shortage of foreign analogues.

According to the publication, the Israeli company Teva stopped supplying Levodopa / Benserazit-Teva to Russia, and earlier another drug, Madopar from Hoffmann-La Roche, left the market, after which domestic drugs (Benziel) remained on the market ( from Canonpharma) and Levodopa + Benserazide (Izvarino Pharma), but they also disappeared from pharmacies. and after the imposition of sanctions, the situation worsened.
