Murashko said that children became more likely to become infected with COVID-19

The causative agent of covid-19 mutates and becomes “more aggressive”, because of this, children have become more likely to become infected with this infectious disease. This was announced by the HEAD of the Ministry of HEALTH Mikhail Murashko, RIA Novosti reports.

“Children have really begun to get sick more often today due to the aggressiveness of the pathogen,” the minister said.

Murashko noted that parents can protect their children if they get vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS.

У тех несовершеннолетних, кто тяжело переносит заболевание, проявляются одышка, высокая температура и сыпь, также может развиться мультивоспалительный синдром. В таких случаях Горелов порекомендовал пройти диагностику и сделать рентгенографию.

Горелов также отметил, что в 30% случаев у детей и подростков могут проявиться постковидные осложнения. Ученый уточнил, что они могут поразить головной мозг, желудочно-кишечный тракт, сердце, эндокринные железы и почки.
