Murashko reported a decrease in the death rate in the regions

More than half of the Russian regions recorded a decrease in the death rate to the levels of the beginning of 2020, the beginning of the spread of coronavirus infection. This was announced to TASS by the Minister of HEALTH Mikhail Murashko.

According to the HEAD of the Ministry of Health, in the first four months of 2020, RUSSIA had the lowest mortality rates in history, “and covid, of course, has dramatically changed the situation.”

it was possible to achieve a decrease in the death rate thanks to the prevention of coronavirus and the resumption of medical examinations, Murashko explained. He noted that during the medical examination, about 15% of patients are diagnosed with new diseases.

This is also facilitated by the rehabilitation of those who have undergone COVID-19, Murashko said. According to him, those who have had a severe form of coronavirus and people with chronic non-communicable diseases “are at risk of premature death,” and the Ministry of Health requires hospitals to transfer lists of such patients to the clinic “for a proactive invitation.”
