In Russia, the incidence of coronavirus among children is growing, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said during a working trip to the Ryazan region. His words are reported by TASS.
“We see that children also get sick more often, more than three thousand children are under the supervision of medical workers [in the Ryazan region],” the head of the Ministry of Health said.
Murashko noted that protecting children from infection is of particular importance, and the examination of the “new dosage form” of the COVID-19 vaccine for adolescents is already at the final stage. The Ministry of Health expects that it will become available for use in the near future, the minister added.
“All of these vaccines are made on the Sputnik vaccine platform, which has proven to be safe and effective,” he said.
