Murashko with the words “everyone calmly” denied the beginning of the third wave of COVID-19

According to the Minister of Health, there is no third wave of COVID-19 in Russia. Murashko explained that in general, the incidence in the country is declining, but the regions come out of the pandemic in different ways.

There is no third wave of the spread of coronavirus in Russia, said Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), TASS reports.

“There is no third wave, everything is calm. The incidence is still decreasing in the whole country, it’s just that different regions are emerging [from the pandemic] in different ways,” he explained.

At the end of March, Deputy Minister of Health Tatyana Semenova said that the incidence rates and the course of the disease itself "allow us to talk about the third wave of coronavirus infection."

However, the minister then considered that talk of a third wave of COVID-19 was still premature.

Murashko urged to be vaccinated, and not to wait for the third wave of the pandemic Society
