Murashko spoke about the interval of vaccinations after herd immunity

Vaccination against CORONAVIRUS after achieving herd immunity will have to be done once a year, HEALTH Minister Mikhail Murashko said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“After achieving herd immunity in our country, it will be enough to vaccinate as planned once a year,” the HEAD of the Ministry of Health said.

Earlier, Murashko said that it would be necessary to be vaccinated against coronavirus during the period of the epidemic rise once every six months. When the situation becomes calm, it will be possible to revaccinate once every six months.

In April, President Vladimir Putin said that thanks to vaccination, Russians should have herd immunity to the coronavirus by autumn. The fact that it will be provided in the fall was later announced by Murashko.
