Murashko spoke about cases of unreasonable medical exemptions from vaccination

Doctors often issue medical exemptions from coronavirus vaccination to those who, given the existing illnesses, will end up in intensive care when infected with COVID-19 . This was stated by the Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko at the congress of the Union of the medical community "National Medical Chamber".

“Sometimes, unfortunately, I come across completely absurd recommendations when a medical withdrawal is recommended for a patient who has options either for vaccination or, in case of illness, in fact, direct referral to intensive care,” Murashko said. According to him, this mainly concerns patients with cardiovascular diseases, oncological profile and others.

He noted that each doctor is responsible for the pace of vaccination. In the treatment of physicians rely only on evidence-based methods of treatment.
