The amount of compensation for Russians who have experienced complications after vaccination may be increased. Now it is 10 thousand rubles,

The amount of the lump-sum allowance for citizens who have experienced a post-vaccination complication may be increased. Now this payment is 10 thousand rubles, since 2000 it has not been indexed or revised.

“We consider it appropriate to review the size of the specified state lump-sum allowance,” says the response (available to RBC) from Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko to State Duma deputy Fedot Tumusov.

This payment can be claimed by Russians who have become disabled due to vaccination.

RBC sent a request to the Ministry of Health.

Tumusov previously sent a letter to the Ministry of Health, in which he proposed to introduce life and health insurance for everyone who is vaccinated against COVID-19 for 10 million rubles. “The logic was simple,” he explained to RBC. “If the vaccine is safe, then the state will not lose anything, and people will be convinced, if the vaccine, in fact, can lead to a bad outcome, then money is needed, since it becomes actually mandatory.”
