Murashko invited elderly doctors and nurses to return to work

At the beginning of the pandemic, due to the high risk of getting sick with COVID-19 , older people, including medical professions, were urged to observe self-isolation measures and not go to work. Many of them then finally retired. Now the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, has invited doctors and other retired doctors to return, since the vaccine helps protect their lives.

“A part of older medical workers during the onset of covid, since isolation measures were announced, <...> retired. Today there is already a vaccine, we appeal to health workers who, at a time when there were risks to health and life, moved away from medical practice, we offer to return. And today, vaccination allows you to protect life and health, ”TASS quotes Murashko.

The Minister specified that a similar trend is already observed in the regions.
