Murashko assessed the situation with coronavirus in the regions

The tense situation with CORONAVIRUS in those regions of RUSSIA where residents do not comply with the recommended preventive measures. This was stated by Minister of HEALTH Mikhail Murashko to the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“Those regions where the population follows the rules and goes for vaccination, the situation is calm there. Those regions, including those with a high population density, where the population begins to neglect the recommended measures, primarily for the prevention of the disease, we see that the situation is becoming tense there,” Murashko said.

The minister added that there are enough vaccines against coronavirus in the regions. According to him, "the situation is developing magnificently" with the vaccination of the population in the Belgorod region and the Chechen Republic.

Formerly DIRECTOR of the Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after V.I. N.F. Gamalei Alexander Gintsburg said that the increase in the number of cases of covid-19 in Russia may be associated with an increase in the activity of citizens in the summer. He urged Russians to get vaccinated to protect themselves and loved ones. According to Gunzburg, those vaccinated, even if they get sick, carry the infection in a mild form.
