Murashko called the key for a “positive outcome” after COVID disease

Citizens with or suspected of having a CORONAVIRUS infection should seek medical help within the first three to four days. This, according to RIA Novosti, was announced by the Minister of HEALTH Mikhail Murashko.

At the same time, the minister complained that most citizens seek medical help on the fifth or sixth day of illness.

“The actual first three to four days are key to <...> ensuring positive outcomes. Unfortunately, I see that patients often seek medical help on the sixth or seventh day, the phase of development of the acute course [of the disease] is already underway, when the provision of medical care is extremely difficult, the choice of treatment methods is limited,” said Murashko.

In mid-December, Murashko said that RUSSIA had not yet completely overcome the fourth wave of coronavirus, so timely vaccination and revaccination are important.
