The Minister of HEALTH statedthat vaccination radically reduces the risk of being in an infectious diseases hospital and practically reduces the likelihood of being in intensive care to zero

The vast majority of patients who are hospitalized with covid-19 have not been vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS infection, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said, TASS reports. According to the minister, the proportion of patients vaccinated in the covid departments of hospitals is less than 8%, and in intensive care. they don't hit at all.

“More than 92% of patients admitted to covid hospitals are unvaccinated patients. Those who are vaccinated are usually mild, they do not end up in intensive care, ”he says.

The minister also warned that over time, the disease has changed behavior: if earlier it was most dangerous for people over 60, now young people and pregnant women are at risk.

“Therefore, today the most direct and fastest way is to stop the spread of the infectious process, in order to reduce the number of not only sick people, but also those who have received severe complications, the number of deaths, this, of course, is only vaccination,” Murashko summed up.
