
About 18 million Russians were vaccinated with the first component of the CORONAVIRUS vaccine. This, according to RIA Novosti, was announced on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Minister of HEALTH Mikhail Murashko.
“In total, more than 18 million have already been vaccinated with the first component. Now the activity of the population has increased very well,” Murashko said.
On May 10, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that 21.5 million citizens had been vaccinated against covid-19 . Later, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that 24 million people had received at least one dose of the vaccine. According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, 24 million is the number of doses of the vaccine that have been used over the entire period. More than 14 million people have received the first injection, and nearly 10 million have been fully vaccinated.

According to the results of the RBC study for May 16–18, the number of Russians who received at least one vaccine against COVID-19 increased to 13.9 million (9.52%) compared to the previous study in early April, when the number of vaccinated citizens was 6.93 million (4.74%). The top regions that received at least one dose of the drug included Chukotka (23.99% of the total population), Nenets Autonomous Okrug (16.74%), Belgorod Region (16.60%), Magadan Region (15.21 %) and Mordovia (15.06%).
