
The Russian vaccine Sputnik Light has been registered in Mongolia, according to the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
The Russian Direct Investment Fund announces the registration of the Russian one-component vaccine against CORONAVIRUS Sputnik Light by the Ministry of HEALTH of Mongolia.
RDIF recalled that in February, the Ministry of Health of Mongolia had already registered the two-component vaccine Sputnik V.

The Sputnik Light vaccine is a component of the two-component Sputnik V and was created on the basis of recombinant human adenovirus serotype 26 (rAd26). Its effectiveness was 79.4% based on the analysis of data from vaccinated Russians from the 28th day after immunization. The price of Sputnik V and Sputnik Light is less than $10 per injection.
In RUSSIA, Sputnik Light was registered on May 6. The Gamaleya Center assured that the new vaccine is effective against all strains of coronavirus, including new ones. “The efficacy rate of about 80% exceeds the efficacy of many vaccines that require two injections,” according to the RDIF.
Earlier, the Russian one-component vaccine was registered in Nicaragua, Angola, Bahrain, Venezuela, Palestine and Mauritius.
