The Ministry of Health approved the procedure for referral to in-depth medical examination

The Ministry of HEALTH approved the procedure for sending citizens to an in-depth medical examination, first of all, those who have been ill with CORONAVIRUS will be able to go through it, follows from the order of the department received by RBC.

Citizens who have had an infection with two or more chronic diseases, as well as those who have been ill without them, have priority right.

Clinical examination will be carried out after 60 days after recovery from coronavirus (with outpatient treatment or in a hospital).

On behalf of the President, from July 1, in-depth medical examinations for those who have recovered from the coronavirus should begin throughout RUSSIA. In mid-June, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved a medical examination program for the population. It will take place in two stages.

The first includes complete and biochemical blood tests, measurement of blood oxygen saturation (saturation), test with a six-minute walk, spirometry, chest x-ray, doctor's appointment. Those who have had covid-19 rely on an analysis to determine the concentration of D-dimer in the blood, which helps to identify signs of thrombosis. All examinations can be completed in one day. The second stage will include echocardiography, CT of the lungs and Doppler examination of the vessels of the lower extremities.

reported that those who had been ill with COVID-19 from two to six months ago would be the first to be invited for medical examination. Then, citizens with chronic non-communicable diseases will be able to undergo medical examination. After that, it will be taken by those who have not consulted a DOCTOR for two or more years.
