The Ministry of Health clarified the dates of new deliveries of Sputnik Light to the regions

Starting next week, additional deliveries of the one-component vaccine against covid-19 Sputnik Light will begin in the regions. This statement was made by the HEAD of the Ministry of HEALTH Mikhail Murashko during a working visit to the Ryazan region, Interfax reports.

“Additional volumes have been ordered. Starting next week, we plan to start deliveries to the regions,” the minister assured, noting that Sputnik Light is in high demand among Russians.

Several regions last week reported a shortage of Sputnik Light for everyone. In particular, the vaccine ran out in St. Petersburg , Voronezh Oblast, Yekaterinburg, Kurgan, and Perm. Murashko announced on November 1 that the issue of drug availability had been resolved.” There were some questions about the timeliness of delivery of one of the vaccines. They are allowed on Saturday-Sunday, today they are sent everywhere,” the minister said.

According to the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, the lack of a vaccine is associated with the irregularity of vaccination in the regions. Peskov noted that in the case of rhythmic vaccination, this situation would not have happened. He assured that in RUSSIA "everything is in order" and the deficit is short-term.
