The Ministry of HEALTH of the Kaliningrad region announced the start of vaccination against CORONAVIRUS for children aged 12 to 17 years. The algorithm for its implementation is published on the website of the regional government.
Adolescents whose parents agree to this will be vaccinated with the Gam-COVID-Vak-M (Sputnik-M) two-component vaccine at medical organizations in the region at the place of attachment or residence of the child. The time interval between the first and second components of the vaccine is 21 days.
it is noted that a written statement of one of the parents (or other legal representative) can be written either in an arbitrary form or according to the application form posted on the official website of the regional Ministry of Health. Consent can be obtained at the clinic before vaccination.
“Before administering the Gam-COVID-Vak-M vaccine to adolescents, it is mandatory, as in the case of other medical interventions, that informed voluntary consent to medical intervention, as well as consent to vaccination be issued: for children 12-14 years old inclusive - parents (legal representatives), adolescents aged 15-17 give their voluntary informed consent on their own,” the message says.
You can pre-register for vaccination on the website of the Ministry of Health, in children's clinics or through call centers - to plan the date, place and time of vaccination.
